tub drain does not line up with inplace drain

buying a new tub. The existing drain in floor is 15" off of the stub, measued to the side of the tub. The new tub drain would be 14.5" plus i plan to notch the wall stub 1/4". So the tub drain would be 1" off center of the floor drain. do they have a certain type of drain to buy for this this situation?

It is quite normal when installing a different tub to have to move the drain.

The elbow in your tub drain kit can be aimed to the offset existing ptrap. To finish the connection of the overflow a 45 degree fitting can be used.

Basically, you gotta do what ya gotta do.
