I am about to refinish my basement. The first thing I'd like to do is relocate my washing machine (and sink) to the other side of the basement. The house is 7 years old and the plumbing in the basement (for the bath) is roughed in. There is currently a 2 inch drain with 1 1/2 vent stack above that was put in by the builder to serve as tap-in point for the future bathroom sink. There is also a toilet and shower drain pipe - which appear to tie into the 2 inch future sink drain (w/ 1.5" vent) under the concrete floor - I am guessing this is a typical basement "wet vent" setup?

Anyway - here is my question. I'd like to have the front-loading washing machine and sink moved right next to the future bathroom. Can I tap into the same 2 inch drain that the bathroom sink will tap into for both my washing machine and utility sink? If so - do I need any additional venting on either appliance? Should I vent the washing machine itself (instead of relying on the 1 1/2" wet vent stack)? The bathroom sink will be about 4 feet from the 2 inch drain, the washing machine sink will be about 2 feet away and the washing machine itself will be about 4 or 5 feet away. Thanks!
