I have two Kohler toilets ($325) each. One rings like Avon when it flushes, the other leaks. What is the problem with American companies these days? Can't they make a decent toilet?
So who makes a good toilet?

Toto may be a Japanese company, but they make (at least some) toilets in their line in Georgia...and many other places in the world.

If you have a Kohler with a ringing sound, it must be an older pressure assist.
The newer ones are not as noisey.
Toto is one of the better makers of toilets in the US.
