NickG New Member Messages 12 Reaction score 0 Points 0 Jan 17, 2006 #1 When the laundry tub fills, I get that sewer gas smell in the basement. My assumption is that a vent pipe is clogged. Any other suggestions to look for? If it is the pipe, do I rent a snake and try to clear it out?
