Old Shower Pan Problem

Sorry for the double post, first title didn't make sence.
Hello all,
Looking for some help. I'm in the process of remodeling my shower. I've gutted everything except the old shower pan. I'm stuck and looking for advice. Nothing is holding the shower pan but the drain. I can't seem to remove it. Is it screwed in or glued or what?
Any ideas fom someone who has removed one before.

If you are throwing away the pan, just cut out the section around the drain, and then you can access the bottom.
