I recently had a half bath installed in my room over the garage. I noticed the plumber has the water line coming up through the floor vice from the wall behind the toilet. Is this common or should it have been ran in the wall?

Every house I have lived in has the water supply coming up from the floor.

Doesn't make any difference. I guess it would be a little easier to clean the flooe if it came from the wall.....

If this was a remodel, he probably didn't want to open the wall to run the pipe and then have to patch it.
