I am having a problem with only the hot water pressure and volume on my kitchen sink faucet. It started all of a sudden. Cold water comes out at normal volume and pressure, but the hot barely comes out. I cleaned out the faucet head and checked the shutoff valve. Hot water pressure is fine at every other faucet in the house. Any suggestions?

How did you check the shutoff valve, what did you do to check it?

You can shut the stop valves under the sink and disconnect them from the faucet. Then get a bucket and try turning on the water, first the hot and then the cold. Open the valves all the way if you can. The pressures will / should be very close. If the hot is way off the you have eliminated the faucet as the problem.

Something is plugged up, but since it could be in any of several places, the most likely spot being the hot water valve in the faucet, we cannot pinpoint it exactly without being there to test the faucet ourselves.

The faucet is a Grohe Ladylux Plus

If you don't have the paperwork that came with the faucet, go to the Grohe website and look at the parts breakdown diagram. You might want to take the cartridge out, check the passages, and clean if necessary, then put it back together. Sounds like there's something caught in there. Check the supply hoses to make sure it isn't kinked, too along with the shutoff valve.
