There is a toilet in my laundry room....located between the washer/dryer. Actually, it is installed where the dryer should be sitting. I want to remove it permanently. The main bathroom toilet sits directly on the other side of laundry room wall.

How do you seal the opening/drain when the toilet is removed? Is there a possibility that the two toilets are using the same drain and will sealing one opening pose a problem with the bathroom toilet?

Thanks

Whatever you do to that opening will have no effect on any others. Use an expansion plug, various names "Dollar plug", Cherne "Gripper Plug", etc. You may have to trim the lip off so it will go into the pipe far enough so that you can patch the floor level over it.

Wow! You are great. I spent 2 days searching the net and couldn't find a solution.

Thanks for the quick response.
