Just install a pedestal sink. The plumbing can't be moved and the drain is not aligned properly. I bought a PVC flex extension and it leaks. I need about a 2" offset in order to work. The wall pipe comes out and just hits the edge of the pedestal, the j pipe connects, but the pivot action will not reach into the pedestal and up to the drain. I believe a 2"offset will work, but it needs to be 5-6 inches long. I found offset 17" long. Are there any specialty shops that make them and what are the fitting ends on drain pipe called. Does pex come in drain pipe. Any help appreciated.

Thanks for any advice,
J

With a pedestal lav, it has to be right in the wall.
You may want to reconsider the use of a pedestal there.

Even with proper centering, the connection at the wall needs to be very close to the wall.

Flex extensions are seldom suitable for ANYTHING, and are universally prohibited by plumbing codes. I would have to see the installation to determine whether a tubular "offset" would work.
