TSU33A Fill Valve for E-Max TOTO

One of the fill valves used in the Eco TOTO is the TSU33A

One thing to check if it's not shutting off is the pull-out screen at the inlet of the valve.

I have this valve in my Toto. Is there any other fix for it besides the filter if it keeps running? Also, what is the slotted turn adjuster for (on top of the unit; it has + and - on it)? Thanks.

This valve has a screw adjustment for water level.
You can't take this valve apart. If cleaning the filter doesn't do it, the other option is replacement.
