I have a 10-month old Toto one piece G-max, which is clogged. Ordinarily I use Scott toilet paper, which a plumber told me is easier on my septic plumbing system. I mistakenly purchased Target brand (like Northern Quilted, I think), and now, for the first time, the toilet's clogged.

Plunging hasn't helped. Is there a special way to tackle this problem with a TotoG-Max? Thank you.

You may need to use a closet auger like this.

You can get them at the big box stores.

Put the plunger in with water in bowl, and after a series of short, quick strokes, pull up until everything sucks down. Usually people do big strokes up and down. Using that method, some blockages won't move.

Pouring water into the bowl from a five gallon bucket sometimes works too.

Thanks to both Cass and Terry for responding. Terry's method worked, finally, after several tries.
