Hi everyone. My name is LT Chong.I am a tile professional from East TX.-TANDCTILE-DOT_NET

I have an issue with concrete in a toilet pipe (its the concrete guys fault).Im looking for remedies on resolving this issue without a total demolition which would entail taking up large tiles, jackhammering, possible spiderweb fractures and new cold joints.

As of now, plumbers have muriatic acid sitting and will try some kind of snake later on today.Has anyone experienced this?

Thanks.

That is a POSSIBLE remedy, but it will take a LONG, LONG time to dissolve and has to be rejuvenated frequently. Once the acid creates an opening through the concrete, it will then ONLY remove any concrete BELOW that point. IF the concrete guys did it, make THEM do the removal and patching.
