Wouldn't you think the scrap yard folks would have thought that maybe there was something fishy. How many people own even one sewer grate that legally belonged to him?

WE did a house for a scrap dealer in Illinois. Kids were stealing culvert pipes and selling them to him, then he would sell them back to the state.

Just saw the same reported on the news nearby about sewer grates being stolen. Police said local metal scrapyards "will not" buy them.

If thats the case then where are they going?

Also Milk Crates.

They Steal the Storm Drain Grates around here and use them for Grill Grates, Then sell the grill.

A lot of them have Serial Numbers and are chained or locked, Makes it take a few seconds longer to steal.


I know a Automobile will stop real quick if they drive over a drain that is missing the grate. I have seen it.

Good that they got caught.

Now are Tax Dollar gets to pay for their new home, and drug habit.
