New Vanity, having problems!!

Hi everyone,

I am currently in the middle of remodeling my bathroom. This is the first bathroom I've done, and my first plumbing project. I have everything done, except for one problem. My vanity sits lower than the older pedestal sink, so the trap of the drain and pipes going into the wall has a gap, about an inch. I am stuck, and not sure what I can do to make this work.. HELP!

simple cut open the wall and cut out the tee in wall install new tee at the right height !

repair wall and everybody is happy
