Reseated Dartmouth, now it's really LOUD.

My husband reseated our Toto Dartmouth toilet this morning because an item fell into the toilet which got stuck. The item was successfully removed and the toilet reinstalled including the wax ring. Now when we flush the toilet is extremely loud. I can hear the thing from the other side of the house. Any suggestions as to what is going on?

Just to be clear, when the toilet refills with water is when it is LOUD.

Check the water supply valve. It should be turned 100% on.
