Toto Ultramax 1.6 vs 1.28 GPF

Thank you for a fantastic website. Could someone please weigh in on why someone would get a 1.6 GPF rather than a 1.28? Thank you very much.

1.6 gallons. Just a bit more water when you push the handle and release then you would get with 1.28
They The 1.28's work fine as they are, and with either you can hold the handle down a bit longer and get more water if desired. It tends to increase the payload it will deliver.

The Ultramax II comes as a Watersense 1.28 and works just fine.
