when you are connecting pex to brass do you need to use pipe dope? or can they make a seal dry? :confused:
Are you talking about the PEX connectors that are used with it or something else? The answer would be no you don't use pipe dope with the brass PEX connectors. I'm not sure what other brass you would be connecting PEX to.
If it is a threaded connection, then you need a pipe joint compound or Teflon tape, to ensure a seal.
