low hot water pressure in tub only???

Takes forever to fill tub with hot water.I read somewhere about a fixture valve.Could this be the problem?If so how do I fix it? Thanks

We need more information. What kind of valve, single handle, two handle, three handle?
Has one knob for both hot and cold,The more I turn it to the left the hotter it gets.The crome plate around it say's Scald-Guard.
