i have a waterboss and was wandering what would be a better softner when i replace we have hard springwater?

What are you looking for in a softener?
The water boss,,, the little brother to the Hague Water Max is a good unit on hard water to a point because of the up flow brine... but if there is iron or other items it may not do as good.
