My two toto seats (one Bemis) are great. One slow close.


Son has a slow close and it looks like pic in another thread (below) were the seat is smaller than the outside diameter of rim. Mine are flush if not a tad larger.

Not really sure what your question is...

A toto seat on a toto toilet will have the closest size match verses using a generic seat on a Toto. This is likely true for any toilet...the manufacturer's toilet seat will match better in both color and shape verses another brand.

How a seat "fits" is a combination of HOW the bowl is designed, and HOW the seat is designed. There are NO "hard and fast, chiseled in stone" rules as to sizing.

That's fine, just curious

Was just that my Toto and Bemis seat are perfect and cover all of top of rim diameter


Son's is like pic in the link I pasted on my post, seat is 1/2 inch? smaller than top of rim, so rim top is showing--
