I'm willing to speak for a fee too.
And it doesn't matter where it is. I figure I can make friends anywhere I go. I think my standard fee should be $2,000 plus plane fare.
I don't know about running for congress though. I'm having way too much fun now. It would cut into my hiking, skiing and softball time.
My nephew ran for congress last time in Washington State.
It's easy to do. Just register for it. It did give him a platform for his ideas.

I talk 5 and a half hours a day and don't get anywhere near that.
Nobody going to pay a real plumber that much to talk. They don't even like paying us that much to "do" the plumbing.
But if you don't like fishing topics, I could come up with something for that amount.

Yes, it's a good gig to be sure. But because a person can't get a plumbing license doesn't mean they couldn't get one if they tried. And what's with all the government regulation on that anyway? It makes more sense to be making laws. Free thinking is what's needed. That and making laws we can all live with.
