What is the typical cost per foot of drilling a well in your area?

Does this include the screen and other incidentals?

Around here we have rock bore wells, no screening. I've heard of $6-10/ft not including the casing which is usually 50' to 80'.

We are drilling wells for about $23 per foot plus $75 per foot for stainless steel screen. We also itemize out the cost of drilling mud, grout, and a few fittings. This is forward mud rotary. Our wells are anywhere from 50 feet (we have a minum rate of $2000) to 700 feet. After 700 feet the wells are probably more like $40 per foot because of the need to use steel casing.

$15.00 per foot this week. (Oil keeps making the PVC go up) $350.00 mobilization fee, Couple hundred for permits. No screen. Additional cost for casing past 60 foot at current rates. (Which I have lost track of) Mud rotary and cable tool, prices don't really vary that much.
