View Full Version : Soldering Taco Flo-Chek - Should Valve be Removed

Do I need to tear apart the Taco 219 Flo-Check prior to soldering? I checked their web site but can't find installation instructions.

I believe it is all metal so it should not be necessary.

use MAPP or better to heat it quickly. flow the solder, let it cool enough to "set" then wrap a wet towel around the valve.
