Hi,
I have a four zone oil fired hydronic heating system controlled by a Honeywell 845A, the zone valves are the green Taco type with one power transformer per two valves. Three zones work fine but on one of the zones the Honeywell relay chatters when heat is called. I have swapped the zone valves, replaced the theromostat and checked the wiring and as far as I can tell everything is OK. Has anyone seen this problem, any troubleshooting suggestions are welcome.

TIA,

Herb

Check for voltage drop and make sure you have the same voltage leaving the transformer and energizing the relay.
