I'm a newcomer to posting for help - But boy do I need help! I'm working on a bathroom project that seems to have no end at this point. Actually, it's a complete remodel, and the only thing in the bathroom at this time is the tub. My problem is that the tube that would normally lead up to the toilet tank is drip-drip-dripping. The shut-off valve is all the way off AND the water main for the fixture is shut off! If I turn the shut-off valve to the open position a small amount of water spurts out and the dripping then continues. How can water be coming out of a pipe if the water is turned off?
I would gladly install a new shut-off valve, if you think that would help, but I'm not sure how to do that without twisting the pipe all up. Note: in the past I've bent the pipes that attached to the water tube leading to the sink - that is another problem I'll contemplate next)
Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated!
