I am on a well system. WHen I turn on my kitchen faucet (Delta 61201) cold I get spurts of air along with the water. It only lasts for about 3 seconds and then will not happen again until the faucet is off for about 1/2 an hour. This is the only faucet that is affected. I cleaned out the aerator (which was clean). Do I need to bleed the system? If so what is the correct method? If not what are possible causes? Thanks in advance for your help.

If its just the kitchen sink. Take a look at the spray nozzle that sits over to the side.
If it drips while you are running water, that is the cause of the air.
Change it and the air will go away.

Thanks for the response. There isn't any dripping from the sprayer. Could the problem be the ball assembly?
