Hi-

Is there a limit to what can be tied into a vent that goes to the roof line? i have a 1st floor toilet/sink that vents outside and up to the roof through a 1-1/2" line (code in my area, pgh)

i want to tie in the washing machine plumbing vent and floor drain vent from my basement to it (probably tie it in outside since i have to go through the wall anyway for the dryer vent)

thanks

Dave

Here the 1-1/2 would be fine for 24 fixture units as long as the maximum length does not exceed 50 feet. We would not be allowed to tie in outside the structure. A 1-1/2 vent is subject to frost closure and would not be permitted in many locations.
