We are having a hard time eliminating a bad odor from our kitchen drain. We have tried all the usual sink odor eliminators available at our local supermarkets. We have also run ice through the disposal and tried other typical remedies. My question is this... could this be a vent problem? We recently had a new roof put on our house and the roofers replaced all of the roof vents. Could they have inadvertently caused this odor problem? FYI, we are connected to a septic tank which was cleaned about 6 months ago. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
