My new NTI Trinity boiler specifies CPVC for vent and air intake when the boiler is located in a closet, and also specifies the use of PVC to CPVC transition cement. Who makes this cement? I haven't found any!

Go to this site and go down about half way and you will see one of the glues that work:

you are looking for multi-purpose Olive Label

What you need is often called "multi-purpose cement", for joining PVC, CPVC and ABS in any combination. If memory serves, I've seen the stuff at my local ACE Hardware store, and other hardware stores. It usually comes in a clear formulation. I suspect it's just a mix of the various solvents that are used to solvent-weld PVC, CPVC and ABS, so that's why one can use it to join the different materials.
