Is there plumbing code that applies to the size of a bathroom? Or, is there something that says that there must be a certain number of inches in front of a toilet or vanityu?
Codes vary. You will need 21" or 24" from the front lip of toilet to wall or door. You will need 15" to 18" from centerline of toilet to wall or cabinet on each side. Check your local situation.
