Hi! I was trying to get an honest opinion if you think that the Toto Ultramax with the G-Max flushing system is any better than the Ultramax II with the double cyclone flushing system? I saw the Ultramax II at a store today and all the salesguys could tell me was "look, only 2 holes for the water to clean like a cyclone vs all the little holes on the old Ultramax. We sell alot of these Ultramax II and no longer recommend the old Ultramax." I am aware that the Ultramax II uses 1.28 liters of water vs the 1.60 liters in the Ultramax.

I also saw on the Ultramax II that the toilet lid just places on top correctly on top of the tank like a normal toilet lid unlike the Ultramax which has velcro strips on it's lid to attach it to the tank. Any compliants about the lid from your experience with it?

I have an Ultramax that was put in 2 1/2 years ago. Whenever I open the lid, it is full of condensation and sometimes the condensation drips out on the outside velco strips of the lid even when the lid is on securely.

I appreciate your help!

Performance is pretty similar between the two.
If you have condensation, you may have a tank leak. Put some food coloring in the tank and see if the color runs into the bowl, if it does, you may need a flapper.

I'm still selling a lot of the one and the two in the Ultramax.
The CEFIONTECT is nice, both the models you listed have that.
The II does have the higher bowl, which many find nice.
