I bought an estate solid surface vanity top by rsi 22x61
the problem is I had to buy a 48 " vanity because the two side walls are only 57" apart.
so I have to cut the top down a few inches on each side
does anybody know how I can do this with this type of material?
what type of saw and blade should I use?

thank you for any help

A good fine-tooth carbide tip circular saw blade will work. Put masking tape on the finished side, and cut from the back side to minimize chips.

countertop done

jimbo your advice worked out to be just right

used a 150 tooth 7"oldham circular saw blade to cut within a 1//4" of size and used a belt sander with 50 grit to finish it off ,no problem looks and fits perfect. oldham also makes a blade just for that material (solid surface, corian and rsi types ) they were out of stock on this one.
make sure you do this outside because of a lot of dust
and just put it on saw horses

thanks again for your help
