LOW WATER level WALL Mount Crane ???????

Hi, My husband just replaced an Eljer wall hung with a "slightly used" like new Crane Rexmont. The bowl will not hold the full amount of water maybe only 5"?? Tank holding fine. Doubt it is a blockage since the Eljer we just removed had no water level issues. We are putting the house on the market so hate to spend anymore so desperate for any ideas, answers, suggestions?Thanks in advance.

First thing to try is take a bucket and slowly add water to the bowl. This will determine the maximum water level it will hold. It may just be that what you have is the design level for that bowl. If the bowl does hold more water, then you may need to play with the fill valve...it may take a restrictor in the tank to force more water into the bowl so it is full when the tank gets full.

Water level, aka water spot, is controlled by the trap that is built into the toilet. There is no adjustment. Old water hog toilets had huge water spots, but the new low flows do not although this varies from model to model even within the same brand.

If you can't raise the water level by slowly adding it directly to the bowl, that's what it is designed for (unless the thing is not level).

Pretty hard to install a replacement wall hung toilet and get it off level, unless the carrier is not level and EVERY toilet ever installed on it was not level. IF the water level rises to the proper level when you pour water in slowly, then the refill tube in the tank is not positioned properly, or the fill valve is not sending water through the refill tube.
