We have a jetted tub that will not turn off. We have to turn it off at the power source.
Any ideas on how to fix this? Is it a do it yourself item or should we call a professional?
The switch may be the kind that has a rubber tubing connected to it and it came off at the worst possible time. The switch is like a air bellows that puts pressure on a micro switch and clicks it on and it starts the pump. Works like a foot switch on a sewer machine. So, it might be a simple do it yourself fix.
The air switch is broken, the hose to the motor switch is broken or disconnected, or the motor switch has failed. ANY of these will cause your symptoms so you, or a repair person, has to test the system to see which it is.
