First, thank you, Terry Love, for hosting this wonderful forum. I used it when I bought two toilets and the advice I received was invaluable.
Second, I want to buy three faucets for two bathrooms on which I am doing a quickie remodel to freshen them up. I hope to remodel them completely in a couple of years so I am trying to economize on this effort. The handles for the faucets which I am trying to replace seem to be independent of the spout. Everything I see for two-handled faucets are called 8" wide-spread. If I understand that correctly, it means that there is 8" between the centers of the handle holes. In my case, there is about 10" between the holes. Is there such a thing as a 10" widespread? Do you think it is possible to find something modern-looking that will fit the holes in my counter for about $100 a set?
Thanks for any help.
