Hi all,
I am adding an addition to my home. To extend the radiant heat system, I just finished making a 'remote' manifold that is about 25' away from the existing infrastructure. Its mounted in the garage, and inside a frame that I planned to cover with vapor barrier and 5/8" sheetrock, essentially firewalling it up. However, I do have two low-power zone valves in the space, and I have the feeling I needed to put sheetrock behind the manifold, to meet fire code. Is that right, or am I most likely ok?
