Bidet seats, toto neorest, and sitting on the lid

I am considering installing either a toto neorest or a toilet with a bidet seat, but I cannot do without sitting on the closed toilet lid in my small bathroom. Which of the available devices, if any, will allow sitting on the closed lid?

The lids on the Washlets and Neorest's are very thin about a 1/4", i wouldn't risk sitting on them.
I went into our showroom and pushed on it with my hand and it gives very easily.
