Hey ya'll, my name is Dan Lawrence I am a former drain cleaner, septic pumper & installer and plumbing apprentice. I started working for my fathers company when I was 12 on weekends and summers. Mostly cleaning shop and digging ditches by time I was 15 I was running the backhoe for dig outs and new septic installs. I worked in the business for several years until I was hurt in a car accident in my early 20's. I was told I would never be able walk with out a cane. Well I can walk with out a cane but I can't be on my feet more than a few hrs a day. I bounced from job to job for a while then got smart and decided I wanted to get into something I enjoyed so I found RootX. I started out making calls to plumbing companies and now I manage the west coast 12 western states and 8 Canadian Providences. I am also involved in marketing, research & development, sales, service & technical support. I have written the manuals for my company on application process for septic as well as a few pending approval from the EPA on application process's. Growing up in the industry has given me an edge. I love the art of drain cleaning, septic installs are my favorite new construction job.
I have been asked here by some friends to be apart of the plumbing & drain cleaning discussions as well as answer questions about my companies product. I am not here to promote or push my companies product and I will respect this forum and Terry who has graciously allowed me to be apart of.
More personal information about me is I am married and have a son who is all most three and a baby due June 20th. I love the outdoors and fish all over Oregon and Washington
