Toto Soft Close Seat Static

We love our new Toto toilets! We have had one Gwyneth (Ultramax II) for about a month now and it never ceases to amaze. We just installed our second one in the master bath.

My question / comment is about the soft close seat. It seems to be a powerful static hair attractant. Any stray hair from a pet or body part flies to it and sticks, necessitating frequent seat cleaning. We might have to purchase alternative seats. Has anybody else had this problem and how did you solve it? WE'RE NOT THAT HAIRY! :o

New one to me! I have two soft close and have experienced nothing like you report. It will be interesting to see if others may have had this problem and what might be done to solve it.

I've never heard of that.
