Overflow tube snapped on Briggs 4430

I was just about finished replacing the Gov-80 and flapper in a Briggs 4430 and then the overflow tube snapped off at the base near the flapper. Now I need to remove the tank and replace it but will a generic overflow work or do I need one specifically for Briggs models? Thanks.

If it uses a 2" flapper, then a standard replacement should work.
