Sterling Vikrell bath module & wall surrounds

HELP! My husband and brother in law decided to spend holiday weekend ripping out my bathroom. Except they didnt foresee/give much thought to the extra lip/apron... and on one panel its about 1/2 inches too long due to a window next to shower. If they could cut off the excess flange where the nails go, it would fit fine. How in the world does one cut this material without the whole thing cracking? Can we score it? Please dont tell me we have to leave as is and alter window...

If there are any insomniacs out there, please email me I am hoping to convince them to give it up for the night!

just cut that lip off with a sharp box knife

anything wil work

it will still work ok, aslong as you have the top nailed in
the unit wont move,..


might be a good idea to caluk that side in well to the drywall
when you are done to make it more solid
