Why would a 2 month old Crane Radcliffe loose water in bowl (it has been this way since the day it was installed. Water fills bowl for 55 seconds, then shuts off, then I notice water is the bowl is slowly going down. The level in the closet tank is at the correct level. The floor is not wet around base. The evnt is not plugged. There is no other water being used at the same time (ie: washing machine)
The toilet I had prevously installed for 30 years did not loose water

Any help would be appreciated.

My apologies if I am in the wrong forum

The flapper is faulty. The flapper needs replacing. Check with your dealer to see if he/she will warranty the flapper. Maybe they will give you a replacement flapper

Hate to disagree, but loss of water from the BOWL is likely a defective bowl. it may have a crack or hole in it and is draining down the drain rather than out onto or into the floor. Unless, of course, on the new toilet, the dog likes it as his new water dish:).

My bad
Sorry, I misread the initial post.

A pin hole at the bottom of the bowl would do it.
As a matter of fact, I had that happen with a crane WC about 12 years ago. Same scenario
