toto promenade 11" rough in?

I would like to replace our current toilet with a Toto Promenade and apparently it only comes in a 12" rough in.

The mounting bolts for our toilet are 11" from the wall (finished wall to bolt center).

The sales people in the store say the Promenade will fit. I am not so sure and there is a 50% restocking fee.

Am I correct that the wall to bolt distance is the rough in? I am thinking the bolts line up with the center of the drain pipe.

Any thoughts as to whether it will fit?

The spec sheet http://admin.totousa.com/Product Downloads/SS-00238, CST424SF_G, V.04.pdf shows 3/4" behind the toilet. You can usually fudge about 1/4" or so on the flange, so it probably will fit, but there will not be any gap behind the tank.

There is some leeway on the closet flange.
You should be able to move the bolts foward 3/8" and make it work.

The horn of the bowl is smaller then the 3" drain.
That allows you to move it forward a bit.
