I enjoy this forum and have read a ton of great info here.
Have a few questions though, I am doing a laundry room expansion and plan on updating correcting some PO's hatchet work.
First my kitchen has an aav with a the laundry tied in to the drain, more on that later.
I plan removing the aav if possible, but the kitchen window is above the sink. Any good ideas to route the vent?
I plan on adding a half bath ( sink and commode) and redoing the the washer inlets, water heater, and washer drain. Thanks - Mike

HOW we would reroute the vent depends ENTIRELY on what you find after you open the wall. In some cases it might be a simple offset, other situations require a major revision.

thanks. We will be tearing out the kitchen wall coverings(cedar paneling) in the next month. so who knows what we will find.
What kind of things would cause a complications.
I am a fairly accomplished carpenter, not so much on the plumbing side, but trying to learn. So we can open the walls and move stuff as we need - Mike
