Hello everyone,

My plumber was here last week to install one of my Toto Aquia II's, and tomorrow he is showing up to install the second one.

If you look at the photo's, you can see that it is not square to the wall.

How can this be fixed?

In the second photo you can see that the buttons do not come to the top of the tank. On my parents Toto Aquia II, the buttons are a good 1/8" higher. On mine I have to hold the a button down for it to flush and on theirs, you just touch it. The tank top is "seated" and I cannot get it more "seated".

How can this be fixed?

Toto'ly confused...

David.

Toto will send you longer pins for the pushbuttons, but you can just set a coin on top of the valve in the interim to raise the button so you can get the longer stroke.

Sounds like the plumber didn't measure well when he drilled the mounting holes. A little bit can change the angle a fair amount.

See if anyone else has any ideas...

Is the toilet square to the room?
Square to the back wall?

Is the room square?

If the room and the corner is square, then the toilet isn't installed square to the room.

I would like to see a picture taken from farther out before I would diss the plumber.

And longer pins. Call Tech support and they will send them, coins in the meantime.

I should have said parallel to the wall behind the toilet.

You may be able to make it parallel to the back wall by undoing the screws, shifting it, and then putting the screws back in.

I don't normally just worry about the back wall though.
I look at the entire room.
Often, walls are not square, so I look for the bigger picture.
So how is it against the side wall or tub?
