Help! Cold water Valve to Washing Machine Leaking

The cold water valve to my washing machineis leaking. I have tighten the nut that is in the middle, but that has not helped.Can anyone help? Does this valve need to be replaced or is there something else I can do? Is there somewhere I can go to get instructions on how to replace.

Are you talking about the valve coming out of the wall... or the shutoff valve inside the machine?

If we knew what kind of valve you are referring to, i.e., one in a box, valves on pipes sticking out of the wall, or valves in the wall with hose connections in a box below them, we might be able to answer the question.
