Is there any way to tell who manufactured an toilet. We ran into a repair issue with the seal between the tank and bowl, but there is no name stamped on the unit. It is in an older mobile home, if this helps. Would rather not replace the toilet due to expense and age of home. :confused:
Unless there is some identifying mark or peculiarity about the toilet, the only way to identify it would be by observation and comparison with similar toilets you have encountered in the past. However, there are only a few "unique' tank to bowl systems, so if you do not have the conventional one, describing what you do have might help. Although, if you do have a unique system, the odds are that the part you need will not be available since many of them have been out of business/production for years.

I was unable to determine who made the toilet so we ended up replacing it. We lucked out and didn't need anything except for the toilet itself. Thanks for your assistance.
