Greetings I'm new to this forum and found all of the information on here very useful. So we are looking t install a dishwasher in this location next to the sink. There is a vent stack (old pipe in the back ) that can be rerouted back into the wall without much trouble, but i was wondering how and if even can the hot and cold water lines be rerouted the same. (to give us room for the dish washer.)

Can the pipes be cut an inch above the concrete and a elbow be attached to direct the lines backwards?

What problems do you guys for see us running into with this set up?

pipes

I think you are underestimating the work involved in relocating the drain line. Depending on the dishwasher, you might be able to offset the pipes at the floor and the dishwasher would slide over them. Some dishwashers do not go all the way to the back of the cabinet, and if yours is one of them the drain might not be in the way.
