Our pressure tank’s bladder has ruptured (water in upper chamber). Current model is 86 Gallon. The model just installed at a larger house is, I believe, 62 gallon. Must I replace with the same size or can I downsize? What size is recommended? Or how do you figure the right size? Thanks for your help.

The bigger the tank, the longer you can go without the pump running, and when it does run, it doesn't short-cycle trying to refill it. So, it somewhat depends on the size of the pump, how much you tend to use at one time, and the recovery rate of the well. This is best asked in the pump and well forum when the people that work with them answer this type of question.
