Recently my 1-year old Square D Pumptrol is not cutting off at once, but it takes 4-5 times of Off/On repeatedly then shuts off the pump when the set pressure is reached - I think it is set at 60 psi (told by pump guy when it was installed a year ago) but not too sure because the gauge went bad as well a few months ago. And, of course, when the switch is repeatedly turning Off/On it makes lots of sparks. 2nd photo below shows the evidence. I think the adjustment of small and large spring with nut has something to do with it but I am not sure which one to adjust to which direction. Can anyone help on this issue?
